We're following up on an email you received last week with a correction to the cutoff date for campaigns to be archived. Please read on for that and other important updates, in case you missed them.
We have not yet received the expected notification from most carriers that enforcement and substantial filtering for unregistered brands will begin soon, however, we only anticipate that window to be 30 days and it could come at any time. Once that enforcement begins effectively any ThruText account without a verified brand registration and use cases will be prevented from creating new ThruText campaigns.
If your Account Owner has not yet registered your brand and plans to continue texting this year or next they MUST submit your brand and use case registration information as soon as possible to ensure verification before the deadline. If you are the Account Owner you can find instructions for completing Brand & Use Case Registration in our Help Center.
Additionally, if you plan to text more than 250k contacts on any single day please reach out to our Client Success team for assistance completing a Special Business Review as soon as possible to avoid the $5000 fee associated with that process.
Year-end Campaign Archiving
ThruText is planning a round of database housekeeping to release valuable phone numbers held in unused campaigns that could be used by future campaigns.
On Friday, November 19th we will begin archiving all active or paused campaigns with an End Date older than 120 days.
No messaging, survey, or opt-out data will be lost when a campaign is archived. You will still be able to clone or export from your archived campaigns. You simply won’t be able to exchange messages through those campaigns after the deadline.
If you require one or more campaigns remain active, simply log into your account before the deadline and edit any campaign with an End Date older than 7/19/2021 (correcting a date error in our previous notification) by moving that end date into the future. This will prevent that campaign from being archived.
For the 2021 holiday season, GetThru will be observing adjusted operational hours.
We will be closed on the following dates:
- Thanksgiving — Thursday, November 25, 2021
- Christmas — Saturday, December 25, 2021
- New Years — Saturday, January 1, 2022
