Highest level permission in getthru.app

The Account Owner permission level has been designed to identify the key decision-makers on a particular GetThru account. It makes the process of gathering and sharing crucial account information more straightforward and targeted to its most relevant audience. For example, account owners will be notified about necessary campaign archiving or about GetThru's post-election account closure process.

This role type is responsible for entering the required brand registration information for 10DLC guidelines related to ThruText.

How does the Account Owner role work?

At account creation, GetThru staff sends the first Account Owner invitation to the user designated during the sales process.

  • If an account does not yet have an Account Owner established, any active admin can make themself the first Account Owner. This is done on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • After one Account Owner is assigned, only an Account Owner can create or remove additional Account Owners.
  • The number of Account Owners an account can have is unlimited. However, be advised that this role should be delegated only to folks on your team who will handle business and organizational-level decisions, such as those related to billing, business EINs, maintaining 10DLC registration information, etc.

NOTE If a user on your account is made an Account Owner who should not have this permission, please get in touch with [email protected]. A GetThru staff member can assist you.

How to upgrade users to Account Owners:

As mentioned above, if an account does not yet have an Account Owner established, any active admin can make themself the first Account Owner. This is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. After one Account Owner is assigned, only an Account Owner can create or remove additional Account Owners. Account Owners can adjust the permission levels of all other users.

There are four different permission levels for users within GetThru.app — Account Owners, Administrators, Moderators, and Users.
