Announcing PatchThru, Caller Details Reports, & Video for ThruText


We know these past few weeks have brought incredible changes and excitement, especially for our political customers. We’re excited to announce some new features and services to help you make the most of the moment.


Video for ThruText

Since we released MMS last year, we’ve seen our clients use it in ingenious and exciting ways and their contacts have responded very positively. Today, we’re excited to announce the addition of video to ThruText’s MMS capabilities! Now, you’ll be able to add the following file types to your Media Library: MP4, MOV, MPG, MPEG, WEBM, and PDF for attachment to your MMS campaigns. Video files can be up to 10MB at upload but must be less than 1MB after compression. Please see our Help Center for more information.


NOTE - This feature is still in Beta, so please let us know if you experience any issues as you begin using it. MMS is only available to GetThru clients in the US and Canada.


PatchThru is Back (and better than ever)

We’re excited to announce that PatchThru is back on ThruTalk! Armed with extensive client interviews and years of feedback from Legacy ThruTalk, we embraced the challenge to build a version that was flexible enough to meet all our client's unique and shifting needs.


Available Monday, August 5th, PatchThru provides the capability to connect your constituents to one or more legislators, media, or peers. It is responsive to voicemails, switchboards, and automated systems. Your callers can choose to stay connected or move on to the next call. All engineered for maximum flexibility.


Key PatchThru features

  • Maintain multiple Targets (the third party you want to Patch to) in the PatchThru Directory with customizable and searchable fields.
  • Easily add one or more PatchThru Targets during campaign creation.
  • Flexible scripts to inform Callers and Contacts, with optional follow-up texts and custom field variables.
  • Callers have the option to confirm successful connections and provide follow-up information.
  • New PatchThru export contains data including outcome, contact details, connection times, caller, and PatchThru Target.


New ThruTalk Report Just Dropped

The new ThruTalk Caller Activity Details report is now available to give calling programs better insight into their metrics at the individual caller level. This report will enable you to perform quality assurance analysis to identify training opportunities with your callers as well as enable programs utilizing paid callers to analyze their effectiveness. You can generate this report on-demand from the ThruTalk Exports page or receive it automatically using our nightly S3 reporting integration. Details on its contents can be found here.
