Campaign Cloning
Cloning a ThruTalk campaign helps you save time by reusing existing campaign settings instead of starting from scratch. This is useful when you're running similar campaigns and want to keep scripts, call times, or PatchThru Targets consistent. Whether you're duplicating a live campaign or reworking a draft, cloning simplifies your setup process.
This guide details how you can use the cloning feature to create a new campaign, what settings carries over, and what needs to be updated before launching.

How to Clone a Campaign
You can clone an active or archived ThruTalk campaign from the Campaign Index page or the Campaign Summary page, or clone a draft campaign from the Review page.
- From the Campaign Index page, click the three vertical dots under ‘Actions’ to open the menu, and then click Clone:

- From the Campaign Summary page, at the top of the page are the action buttons. Click Clone:

- From the Campaign Review page of a draft campaign, at the top of the page, click Clone:

Carried Over Parameters
When you clone an existing campaign, most of the configuration is copied into the new campaign so you can keep your setup consistent.
The following campaign parameters are carried over to the new campaign:
- Details: Title, Description, Time Zone, Daily Open Times
- The campaign title includes (Cloned) at the beginning
- Targeting: Call Script
- PatchThru: Targets
The following parameters are not copied over to the new campaign:
- Details: Start and End Date
- The Start Date will be updated to the current day and the End Date to the next day
- Targeting: Segments, Phone Number Region selections, Dialing Order
- Callers: Campaign invite link settings
Update Cloned Campaign
New Targeting is required for launching a campaign. To add required targeting settings, you'll want to do the following:
- Click Edit on the Targeting section within the review page
- Make selections for segments, dialing order, and regions

The steps above cover the required fields for launching, but you can also edit the Start and End Date, add callers, or change any other settings for the cloned campaign. Once you’ve reviewed the campaign and made any desired edits, click Launch to begin calling.
